Decatur, Ala. (WHNT) The folks at Under Armour will need to manufacture a larger jersey come January. Their annual cross country tour presenting jerseys to all 90 All-American high school football players stopped at Austin High School Wednesday for Deonte Brown. The 6' 4" 350 pound Alabama commit admitted he was a little speechless at the ceremony.

"I was kind of nervous at first and then I just saw everyone and got calm, but it was a big honor to be nominated All-American."

The honor is quite prestigious. Only 90 high school football players in the United States are chosen. That makes Brown one in about every 12,000 players to receive such an honor this season. Austin head coach Jeremy Perkins realizes the significance of this achievement.

"There are thousands and thousands of high school football players playing the game right now and Deonte is one of 90 nominated to play in the game. A big day for Deonte and a big day for Austin. A great day to be a Black Bear."

The Under Armour All-American game is January 2nd in Orlando Florida.
