Polls open today in Limestone Co. for GOP primary in District 5 House race

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. – Today, voters who live in District Five of Limestone County will go to the polls to vote in a Special Primary Election. This is to replace the late Dan Williams, who died in July after a battle with leukemia.

There are five Republicans on the ballot. If none of those candidates receives more than 50% of the votes today, there will be a runoff in December.

Only one Democrat entered the race, so that ticket is set.

Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. today in District 5 in Limestone County.
