HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – A man who initially faced numerous sexual abuse charges has been cleared.

David Blake Williams, 33, had been charged with rape and sodomy, as well as fraudulent use of a credit card in May 2014.  However, the Madison County District Attorney’s Office dismissed all charges in March 2015.

Williams contacted WHNT News 19 to make us aware the charges were dismissed.  We spoke with Assistant District Attorney Tim Gann, who confirmed charges were indeed dropped when Williams passed a polygraph test.

Gann did not offer further details about the situation.
