HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Police have arrested a Huntsville man for a deadly shooting a week ago in the Five Points area.

Nathaniel Keliche Smith, 23, is charged with murder.  Investigators say Smith shot Joseph Thomas McBride on September 18 in the yard of a home on Polk Drive. There was a second person with Smith, and police are still looking for that suspect.  The two drove away and later abandoned the getaway vehicle in the county.

Police say the second suspect is an 18-22 year old black male with a slender build and short hair.  They don’t have much more of a description, unfortunately.
