LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) - The Limestone County Sheriff's Office say two individuals robbed the A&D Food Mart just after 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 24. The store is at the intersection of East Limestone Road and Copeland Road.

Surveillance video shows both males wearing bandanas. It's believed both are white men.  One robber had on a khaki ball cap with grey pants and was armed with a handgun.  The second individual was wearing some type of cap or toboggan.

Deputies say the store clerk was forced to the floor and the offenders removed an undetermined amount of cash from the register.  They also took a Highpoint 9mm pistol from the store.

Authorities say the two robbers ran from the scene.
