Colbert County drug round-up results in 19 arrests

COLBERT COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – A massive drug round-up was pretty successful in Colbert County.

Multiple law enforcement agencies helped to serve drug indictments, resulting in the arrest of 19 subjects.

Officers from the Drug Task Force along with the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office, Tuscumbia Police Department, Muscle Shoals Police Department, Leighton Police Department, ALEA State Troopers and the U.S. Marshall’s Office were all involved.

“I would like to thank all the agencies involved for their participation,” said Sheriff Frank Williamson.

The Grand Jury Indictments included various drug charges ranging from possession of controlled substances to distribution of controlled substances and various other charges.

The following is a list of names included in the arrests that have taken place over the past couple of weeks: William Edward Bates, Tommy James Birgins, Briley Beau Black, David Burcham, Tommy Burcham, Brittany Byrd, Taylor McKenzie Duncan, Harry Lee Freeman, Fredrick Fuqua, Colandra M. Fuqua, Leroy Hampton, Ronals E. Keener, Amy Kimbrough, Ricardo Madden, Kimberly Powers, Jessie Lee Ramson, Marleyne Smith and Carlos Lataro Washington
