Catherine L. Knowles Exciting First Novel “The Doughnut Tree”

Catherine L. Knowles is excited to release her first novel, "The Doughnut Tree." The story is based in here in Huntsville, Alabama in the early 1900’s and is historical fiction that includes murder, madams, hangings, crooked politicians, bootleggers, and the game that changed the South when an underdog college football team won the National Championship. On top of all of that, who murdered Judge Lawler?

Catherine will be doing book signings around the city at the following locations:

  • The Huntsville Botanical Gardens on October 8th from 4-6PM
  • Ground Coffee in Madison on October 24th from 9AM-12PM
  • Burritt Museum on the Mountain for the International Heritage Festival on October 24th from 12-4PM
