DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. – An Ider man is being held in the DeKalb County Detention Center after investigators found explicit images on his home computer, according to Sheriff Jimmy Harris.

The Sheriff said Homeland Security IT analysts had suspicion Frank DeWayne Kelley, 46, had been sending and receiving pornographic material of children.  Investigators spoke with Kelley and got consent to search his home and computers.  Sheriff Harris said they found thousands of videos and images of child pornography.

Kelley is being held on $75,000 bond.  He faces federal charges, which could come down in the next few weeks.

“These types of cases are always disturbing for our investigators. We are thankful we have such a good working relationship with Homeland Security and other agencies to help bring cases like these to a close,” said Sheriff Harris.
