Huntsville Police charge 2 men with capital murder in teen’s July death

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Two men have been charged with capital murder in the shooting death of an 18-year-old teen in July.

Cornelius Morris, of Ardmore, was killed July 26, 2015.  Police say the incident started near Plummer Road and Highway 53 early that morning.  Police say the shooter and two victims drove to the Sunoco gas station on Pulaski Pike and Mastin Lake Road.

Huntsville Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit has been actively working the case and arrested two people on September 2.

Marquez Deshawn Cattage, 22, and Jeremy Jamal Cattage, 21, are both from Huntsville and are charged with capital murder. They are currently in the Madison County Metro Jail.
