NEW HOPE, Ala. (WHNT) - It wasn't that long ago that New Hope broke a six year playoff drought with an eight win season and region title.  That success in 2013 didn't carry over, the Indians opened 2014 with a three game losing streak and never recovered.  "It's one of those season where if it went wrong it went wrong early and often."  Head Coach Randall Taylor told WHNT Sports Director Ryan Cody.  "The ball bounces funny sometimes because it's oblong, you just never know."

Coach Taylor is hoping the 4-6 season can inspire these guys, because when you have experienced winning and losing it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out which one is more fun.  "Oh man, four and six, I never want to have that come out of my mouth again.  That is a lowering thing for us, and everybody is always like no hope, but there is new hope."  Said senior offensive lineman Houston Johnson.

The Indians open 2015 August 28th at Fort Payne.
