Texas Senator, GOP hopeful Ted Cruz to visit Huntsville August 9

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.– Texas Senator Ted Cruz plans to visit Huntsville Sunday, August 9 for an ice cream town hall meeting.

The town hall meeting will take place at the Jackson Center in Cummings Research park at 7 p.m.

The event — presented by the Republican Women of Huntsville — will be free and open to the public, according to Madison County GOP officials. Ice cream will be available before the town hall meeting begins. Click here to register to attend the event.

Cruz will be accompanied by U.S. Representative Mo Brooks, R-Huntsville, who has voiced support of Cruz’s candidacy.
