LINCOLN COUNTY, TN (WHNT) – Authorities are on the scene of a school bus wreck in Lincoln County, Tennessee.

It happened just after 7 a.m. on Hickory Ridge Road.

Emergency crews on the scene tell WHNT News 19 that 16 students and a driver were on board. Two of those students were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Tennessee Highway Patrol Officers say the shoulder of the road was soft. They believe the driver hit the soft shoulder, causing the bus to roll off the road into the ditch.

Crews have managed to get the bus back upright, but they are still working to clear the scene.
