State Trooper, van carrying peanuts collide near Gunter’s Landing

GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. – A State Trooper with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency was traveling on Highway 431 in Guntersville when a vehicle pulled out in front of him.

The van was pulling a trailer of boiled peanuts. The trooper hit the trailer as it crossed over the highway, then hit the guardrail.

There were no injuries in the wreck, and traffic wasn’t blocked by the wreck.
