TONIGHT: DCI North Alabama to take the field at Alabama A&M

NORMAL, Ala. - Drum Corps International returns to Alabama A&M's Lewis Crews stadium for the third year tonight, Thursday, July 23. The first corps takes the field at 7:00 p.m. Tickets cost $25-$35.

Each competing group has up to 150 members ranging in age from 14 to 22. They're made up of brass players, percussionists and dance performers.

Nine corps will compete in DCI North Alabama 2015:

  • The Academy - Tempe, Arizona
  • The Cadets - Allentown, Pennsylvania
  • Cascades - Seattle, Washington
  • Crossmen - San Antonio, Texas
  • Jersey Surf - Camden County, New Jersey
  • Oregon Crusaders - Portland, Oregon
  • Pacific Crest - Diamond Bar, California
  • Pioneer - Milwaukee, Wisconsin
  • Troopers - Casper, Wyoming
  • Southwind - Mobile, Alabama

The box office opens at 2:00 and gates open at 5:30. Pre-show entertainment begins at 6:35 p.m.
