Hoover, Ala. (WHNT) Five SEC teams including Alabama & Auburn will replace a starting QB this Fall. The other nine teams are comfortable with the one they have coming back. Rising junior Joshua Dobbs is one of the major reasons Tennessee is considered a sleeper pick to win the East. Dobbs earned the job midway through the 2014 season after injuries and sloppy play from the signal callers ahead of him.

Butch Jones didn't waste any time naming Dobbs the starter during Spring practice and says the decision was easy. "Our players believe in him, he's a winner, he's extremely competitive and going into this season it's the first time we know who our starting quarterback is, and it does help knowing you have an individual who has proven himself playing meaningful games."

As an aerospace engineering major, Dobbs struggles to find much relaxation time during the Fall but knows his leadership can help others feel calm in the locker room. "Someone who the rest of the players look up to as the leader, as the starting quarterback who is solidified. That's definitely great to have."
