Florence Police search for wallet thief who went on shopping spree

FLORENCE, Ala. – Police are looking for a man they say a wallet stolen from a local doctor’s office turned into a phone, tablet, and other items for a quick-handed thief.

Police say on July 15th, an employee at a local doctor’s office found a man in an employees-only section of the office. That employee said after she showed the man out, she found that her wallet was missing from her purse.

Sometime after, a phone, tablet, and other items totaling over $1,000 were purchased at the Walmart on Cloverdale Road. Police hope you recognize the man in the surveillance footage. He was driving a late-model Chevrolet truck.

Russellville Police are searching for the following people:

  • Bobby Edward Cobb Jr. is wanted by Russellville PD on a Grand Jury Indictment for Theft Of Property 2nd Degree & Burglary 3rd Degree.
  • Precious Michelle White is wanted by Russellville PD on a Grand Jury Indictment for Possession Of Forged Instrument 2nd Degree.​

Florence Police are searching for:

  • Amy Purser White Fraudulent Use of  Credit Card and Theft 2nd.
