HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - I hate mosquitoes.

Little blood suckers.

They can ruin a perfectly good outing and have us itching/cursing for hours after.

There are many mosquito repellents on the market. One that I get a fair amount of email about is the Off Clip-on Mosquito Repellant.

It cost $12.99 and claims 12 hours of coverage protecting you from mosquitoes.

It’s actually a clip-on fan and comes with a replacement pad, which is where the repellent actually comes from. So for your $12.99, the claim is you get 24 hours for your money.

Three of us went to the Aldridge Creek Greenway to test the Off Clip-On. Two had the clip-ons and I went without.

As tempted as I was to make Shannon the Intern go without the repellent, I decided to be the grownup and risk the wrath of angry mosquitoes.

The Clip-Ons appeared to work. The two people wearing the repellent did not appear to be bitten at all.

Me… well, the mosquitoes, and probably more bugs, turned my delicate skin into a buffet.

Our sense was the Off Clip-on Mosquito Repellent worked great. If you have tried them and have had a difference experience, please let me know so I can update the Deal or Dud!
