HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Huntsville Utilities Water Operations crews will close two southbound lanes of Pulaski Pike for a water main installation. Traffic will be diverted into the turn lane during the work.

The work will impact traffic on Wednesday and Thursday, starting at 8:30 each morning.

Crews are going to close the two southbound lanes at 5000 Pulaski Pike, between Judd Ave. and Stag Run Dr. After work is complete on the southbound side, crews will begin work in the northbound lanes at the same location.

Crews will be installing a new water main at Jamison High School.

They estimate the closures will impact traffic for 6-8 hours each day.
