HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – James Lawhorne is due in Madison County Court at 1:30 p.m. The Alabama Securities Commission confirmed with WHNT News 19 they will be there.
A representative from the commission says they expect a plea deal. That person calls it “fair and just” for the victims.
Lawhorne is accused of taking money from investors and leaving tomato farmers with nothing. He was recently caught in Florida and brought back to Alabama.
