ETOWAH COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – The sheriff’s office announced charges against a Boaz man arrested in connection to enticing a child and indecent exposure.

Sheriff Todd Entrekin says 70-year-old Johnny Ray Hale was arrested on Monday.

Hale is charged with one count of enticing a child for immoral purposes and one county of indecent exposure.

Investigators say Hale allegedly persuaded a 13-year-old female victim to go with him to various locations for immoral purposes of exposing himself to her.

He is being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $11,000 bond.

Sheriff Entrekin says Hale is also facing additional charges with the City of Boaz.
