HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Huntsville artist Christina Wegman spends her days interpreting Huntsville landmarks as whimsical abstract scenes and putting her own spin on commissioned portraits.

She works out of her studio at Clinton Row in the Downtown Storage building, and now she`s embarking on a new challenge. The owner of the building has asked her to liven up the side of the building with her art.

"The alley way is kind of unused, and the windows have been sealed over a long time ago, this particular one was covered in chicken wire," said Wegman. "Some of them were fairly unsightly."

Wegman will paint a small mural on the side of the building, and the subject matter is up to you. She's taking suggestions on her Facebook page and says next month she'll narrow the results and conduct a poll.

She says she hopes her one mural will turn into something even greater near Clinton Row.

"This would be just the start of putting this alley to new use and new life."
