HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Junior League of Huntsville is working to help military and high school heroes by hosting a dress drive benefiting the Butterfly Project and the Semper Fi Community Task Force for the Heroes Week Military Ball.

The dress drive will provide access to evening gowns and prom dresses for individuals attending military balls and high school proms. The Junior League will be accepting new or gently used evening gowns and prom dresses at the drive. Donations are considered to be twofold, because they could go towards helping a high school student have the best prom ever or a military family looking to have a night they will remember for a lifetime.

The drive will be held at the Junior League of Huntsville office on July 16, 2015. Dresses can be donated from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The office is located in the First Commercial Bank building at 4650 Whitesburg Drive in Huntsville.
