SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. – State Senator Robert Cameron “Cam”  Ward was arrested and charged with DUI Wednesday.

The  Shelby County Sheriff’s Office website lists Ward as still in custody, as of 7 p.m. Wednesday.

In 2010, Ward was elected to the Alabama Senate representing District 14, which includes parts of Shelby, Bibb, Chilton and Jefferson County.
