HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - News of legalized same-sex marriage is still sinking in. As the high court's decision puts licenses in couples' hands, there could still be resistance at the altar.

That's where ordained minister Bill Jones stepping in.

"Being from Alabama myself, I understand the prejudice that still there and it may be hard to find ordained ministers willing to perform ceremonies and I wanted to offer my services."

Jones says he will travel to perform a wedding for any couple, regardless of sexual orientation.

"As long as it doesn't hurt anyone else, you should be able to do what you want to do and I believe that as a minister, as a human being."

Jones can be reached at 256-479-8574 or on his Facebook.
