Appleton Learning to add 600 education positions in the Tennessee Valley
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Appleton Learning is now hiring more than 600 substitute teachers and support staff for Tennessee Valley school districts, the company said Tuesday.
The jobs are for school systems including: Albertville City, Athens City, Cullman County, Decatur City, Huntsville City, Madison City, Marshall County, Marion County, and Morgan County. Appleton Learning is looking to fill the positions prior to the first day of school.
The continuation of Tennessee Valley school district partnerships, along with new school district partners, has resulted in an influx of job vacancies. Appleton’s vice president of people operations, Stacey Cloud, says, “At Appleton, we’re constantly looking to connect talent with opportunity. To be eligible for a job with Appleton, applicants must have, at minimum, a high school diploma; additionally, they must be able to clear a federal fingerprint and background check and verify employment eligibility through completion of a federal Form I-9.
