Florence Fire & Rescue stops two kids from tubing in the channel

FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT)- Florence Fire and Rescue teams pulled a few kids out of the Tennessee River late Thursday night.

According to Lauderdale County EMA Director George Grabryan, a commercial tow boat captain saw the some kids tubing in the channel and called the Coast Guard. Grabryan said he was concerned the children would get hit by a barge in the dark.
