HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library has named the three baby red-tailed hawks that hatched in April.

Library patrons were asked to offer name suggestions, and then library staff voted.

The winning names are: Athos, Porthos, and Aramis — the Three Musketeers in Alexandre Dumas’ novel of the same name.

Library staff said the three youngsters are growing fast and keeping their parents, Scott and Zelda, busy hunting for food.

You can view all five hawks from windows on the third floor of the Downtown Huntsville Library at 915 Monroe St.
