Feed truck crashes with SUV, falls over onto it in Albertville

ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Police in Albertville are investigating a crash on Highway 75 North and Martling Road.

The wreck caused some traffic delays while crew worked to clean up the wreckage.  However, the intersection is open to traffic.

Captain Joey Martin says a feed truck collided with a SUV near the Shell gas station around 5:45pm Sunday evening.

Witnesses say emergency responders had trouble uprighting the feed truck and pulling it off of the SUV.

Police say one vehicle apparently ran a red light causing the crash.

The driver of the 18 wheeler and a passenger in the SUV were transported to Marshall Medical Center South in Boaz with minor injuries.
