MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) - Investigators with the Madison County Sheriff's Office confirm a man has been arrested for selling drugs to students of
Hazel Green High School.
Lt. Michael Salomonsky says they received intelligence that students were acquiring drugs and eventually obtained a search warrant for a home on Brooks Church Road in Hazel Green. There, they found marijuana, xanax, oxycodone, and cash.
Authorities arrested Jerry Wayne Foster, 47, at the home. He has been charged with one count of marijuana possession and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He is in the Madison County Jail on $7,500 bond.
The Sheriff's Office said two other people are charged in the case: Cynthia Foster, Jerry Foster's wife, and Jessica Johnson, a friend of the couple.
Cynthia Foster, 37, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of marijuana 1st.
Jessica Johnson, 32, was charged with possession of marijuana 2nd and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lt. Salomonsky emphasized that no drugs were found at the school.
