DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) - An entire road in Morgan County is torn up with potholes.  Mud Tavern Road in Decatur had dump trucks constantly driving down it about a year and a half ago due to construction.

Morgan County resident, Travis Garcia says "yeah, it's kind of wavy and deformed to where I usually drive on the other side of the road just to get around it."

Drivers have to swerve into the opposite lane, or off on the shoulder of the road, just to avoid the potholes.

"You can tell where they've re-patched it and it doesn't really do any good," Garcia said.  "After about four or five months it just goes back to being messed up and breaking apart."
