HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT)-- As WHNT previously reported, it's out with CBL Properties at the Madison Square Mall. They have closed on the sale of the property to The Grove, Huntsville LLC,  a new company that was licensed April 17 according to the Secretary of State records. They are working with RCP Companies in the$5 million purchase, a spokeswoman confirms.

For many people who make their living at the mall, the sale raises a lot of questions.

"How much time do we have left?" asks Roger Nunamann of Madison County Shuttle, Inc. The airport shuttle company works out of an office at the mall, for now. "Are they going to honor the lease, or are they going to sever it," he asked of the new owners.

He said CBL Properties hasn't yet informed tenants about the sale.

"It's not like I wasn't expecting this day to come, I was just expecting to hear it through management," commented Nunamann. He's now wondering what's next.

It's the same for Classic Game Vault owner Matthew Wyatt. He leases a space near the food court, and is hoping it's not "game over."

"This place supports me and my family," he said of his business. "It supports... my employees, too. I need to know what's going on, if I have to leave then I can find something else."

He says while Madison Square's parking lots at the mall look bare, and some of its stores have cleared out, his location inside the mall is actually a winner.

"Believe it or not, business has not been bad for us," he said. "I don't have any reason to leave."

He said he's a bit worried and confused without more details about what's going to happen, but he's been told more information is coming their way by Friday.

"I feel like we should have learned something a little bit sooner," he said.
