Active weather pattern Friday-Saturday

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Heavy rain is expected to develop Friday evening into early Saturday.

Part of the Tennessee Valley is under an enhanced risk for severe weather Saturday afternoon.

That category simply means a slightly higher chance as opposed to the standard slight risk.  There is a chance the risk could be increased to moderate for Saturday afternoon.  Damaging winds, hail and isolated tornadoes are possible.

A few showers are expected Friday evening.  However, most the the activity hold off until the overnight hours.  Flash flooding could also be a concern for Friday.
