Manages the technologies of the Pharmacy Department. Leads and directs others in maintaining mechanical equipment in working order. Has or develops understanding of advanced knowledge related to the proper maintenance of equipment. Maintains equipment structure and information integrity. Supports problems identification, troubleshooting, and resolution. Actively communicates with the user community to teach and discuss enhancements and provide support where necessary.


Education: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or will consider relevant experience.


Experience: Three years of experience in management of commercial equipment and technologies in the healthcare field. Previous experience with pharmacy technologies preferred. Computer and technical skills required. Collaborative project management experience preferred.


Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Possess an understanding of all basic pharmacy technician job responsibilities. Must demonstrate skills in math and successful time management. Must be able to establish priorities, delegate when required and follow up in problem solving. Must be able to organize workload, accomplish goals and objectives, and meet deadlines.
