HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) -- Before a federal judge approved Huntsville City Schools' and the Department of Justice's consent agreement, there was some confusion about the zones and uncertainty if any of the rezoning would come to pass as planned.

Now that final rezoning plan has been federally supported. Huntsville City Schools spokesman Keith Ward explains, "They will know for the 2015-2016 school year where their child is zoned for."

Visit schoolzonelocator.com and use the interactive map tool there to figure out where your family is zoned.

"Just type your address in and get the information you need for your particular neighborhood," Ward explained.

You'll need Microsoft Silverlight for the map to work properly. If you need more help and detailed instructions click here.
