The Better Business Bureau's Shred Day on April 18th was a record-breaking success. More than 56,000 pounds of paper and 300 hard drives were destroyed. Two truck loads of electronics were recycled and one garbage can of medication was properly disposed.
Look for more Shred Days across North Alabama. Calhoun Community College hosts a Shred Day in Decatur on May 2nd from 9 am to Noon. In the Florence area, go to the Florence-Lauderdale Coliseum from 9 am to Noon on May 30th.
