Madison Police arrest 8 people in prostitution sting

MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – This week, Madison Police conducted an undercover sting at some motels in the city based on complaints prostitution was taking place.

Police say in each case, suspects used social media to communicate and arrange to meet and exchange sexual acts for money. Officers arrested eight people and took them to the Madison County Jail.

The suspects are:

  • Brett Bonnell, 49, of Athens – charged with soliciting prostitution
  • Kendall Blaxton, 58, of Danville – charged with soliciting prostitution
  • Frederick Jefferson, 30, of Madison – charged with soliciting prostitution
  • Amanda Farley, 33, of New Market – charged with soliciting prostitution and unlawful possession of a controlled substance
  • Eric Matthews, 44, of New Market – charged with soliciting prostitution
  • Jessica Fletcher, 31, of Huntsville – charged with soliciting prostitution
  • James Lambert, 39, of Cullman – charged with soliciting prostitution, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, tampering with evidence and resisting arrest
  • Jose Roman, 40, of Albany, Georgia – charged with soliciting prostitution

“The Madison Police is committed to providing an environment where our citizens can pursue a better quality of life. That includes sending a message to those who engage in prostitution within our city, that it will not be tolerated on any level,” said Lt. Terrell Cook.
