LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT)- It all started in a driveway on 306 Lindsey Lane and now it is a successful barbecue house in Athens. It's called 306 Barbecue and after three years of business they are already expanding.

Co-owner Lee Noah says, "We purchased Greenbrier over off of I-565 and looking to grow... things have gone well here."

The old Greenbrier Barbecue restaurant has been closed for a while but co-owner Whitney Skipworth is excited to bring the building back to life. He said, "It all kind of came full circle with the barbecue business. That we actually had that opportunity to purchase that property and open it back up."

This time it will be another division of 306 Barbecue. They will serve the same food as they do in Athens. Eventually they hope to build a bar in the new location and have a lot of live entertainment.

They are hoping to open the new location in about three months.
