HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - The Transportation Security Administration has recently expanded participation in the TSA Pre® program. Huntsville International Airport will soon offer flyers a chance to sign up for the program while the enrollment center in it's temporary location at HSV.

The enrollment event is happening Monday, May 4 through Friday, May 8 and now due to overwhelming response, Monday, May 8 through Friday, May 15. The center will be located on the second floor of the terminal building between the TSA area and The Grille Restaurant.

Huntsville usually boasts short lines anyway, but pre-registration can drastically decrease travelers wait times on return flights at larger airports.

"They're going to save a lot of time and not have to stand in long lines. Not have to remove as many items; keep their shoes on, not have to take their laptops out of bags, so it really is a convenience," says Airport Spokesperson Jana Kuner.
