Attend the second annual “Quilts Then and Now” show on Saturday, April 11th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at three New Hope locations: the Elizabeth Carpenter Public Library, the Northern Lodge, and the New Hope United Methodist Church.
Tickets are $5 and will give you entry to all three locations.
Each site features beautiful quilts as well as unique opportunities. At the library, try hands-on quilting and buy a raffle ticket for a quilt. The drawing takes place at 2:30 p.m. Buy lunch (hot dogs, chips and a drink) and shop vendors’ wares at the Northern Lodge. The church will host two historical bed-turning sessions, at 11 a.m. at 1 p.m. Vendors will be on hand here as well.
The show is sponsored by Friends of the Library.
