Florence Police arrest two for December Riverside Community Center shooting

FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) – Investigators arrested two men Thursday for the December, 2014 shooting at the Riverside Community Center in Florence.

With the assistance of the US Marshall’s Task Force and the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department, officers arrested  29-year-old Demetrice Carroll and 30-year-old Carlos Thomson in Lauderdale County.

They are charged with attempted murder and shooting into an occupied dwelling.

The shooting happening on December 18th last year. Investigators said a Antoine Foster was shot multiple times. They said it was the result of a dispute between the victim and someone else.
