JACKSON COUNTY, Ala. – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office launched a new website this morning. It’s an effort to connect with and inform the people of Jackson County.

The new site provides the latest information of all the local policing efforts. The website includes alert notifications for the public to receive texts or emails, social media links,  and most wanted listings. It also allows you to view photos and information of sex offenders living in the county.

Sheriff Chuck Phillips says, “It’s even actually got a map that shows where they live, you can click on it, it shows their picture, their charges, you know, that kind of thing. It’s got a lot of information there.”

The new website has an up to date jail roster, which allows the public to view photos and information about individuals booked or released within 48 hours.

The website can be found at www.jacksoncountysheriffal.org.
