Brand new farmers market, ‘Sprouts’ opens its doors in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT)-- A new 28,000 square foot farmers market is opening its doors in Huntsville.

The ribbon cutting begins at seven this morning. This will be the seventh Sprouts location in Alabama and the first in Huntsville. The store is located on Highway 72 West next to the new Hobby Lobby in Huntsville, near the intersection of Nance Road.

Coffee samples and muffins will be served for the big event and free coupon books will also be handed out. The first 200 shoppers in line will receive 20 percent off their purchase.

The festivities will continue this weekend. The first 200 customers on Saturday will receive a coupon book for five free sandwiches. More coupon books will be also be handed out on Sunday.
