UPDATE: Pickup truck driver killed in wreck in Lincoln County

LINCOLN COUNTY, Tenn. (WHNT) – Tennessee Highway Patrol investigators say a 46-year-old man was killed in a wreck Friday morning on Highway 50 in Lincoln County, between Fayetteville and Tullahoma.

It happened around 9 a.m. in the Mulberry community, near Highway 50 and Louse Creek Road.

Lt. Bill Miller, public information officer for the Tennessee Highway Patrol, said two vehicles collided, a pickup truck and a commercial delivery truck.

The preliminary accident report  says the trucks swerved to avoid each other, the semi truck ran over the top of the pickup truck. Terry J. Pride, the driver of the pickup, was killed the crash. Officials say Pride was not wearing a seat belt.

The driver of the commercial delivery truck was injured.

Investigators with the Tennessee Highway Patrol say this was not a weather related crash.
