Police: 4 arrested after home invasion/robbery in Russellville, 1 suspect sought

RUSSELLVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Russellville Police have arrested four of five suspects in a recent home invasion and robbery.  The crime happened Monday, February 23.

Police say late that night, around 11:30 p.m. several people went in a home on Vincent Drive and started taking several different items including guns, keys and electronics.  The homeowner confronted them and one of the people held the homeowner at gunpoint.

The burglars left in a small gray car.  Police developed a suspect and worked with other agencies to distribute the information and solve the case.

Florence Police stopped a vehicle and believed they had several of the suspects in custody.  Russellville investigators went to confirm, and collected the items stolen from the house on Vincent Drive.

Four of the five suspects are in custody, and a warrant has been issued for the fifth person.

Charges: Burglary 1st Degree, Robbery 1st degree, & Theft of Property 1st degree.

Each of these people is charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree robbery and first-degree theft of property:

  • Preston Lee Behel, 20
  • Cindy Behel, 33, of Waterloo
  • Savanna Sage, 18, of Russellville
  • Taylor White, 18, of Florence
  • Bobby Wayne Behel, 44, of Florence (not yet in custody)
