West Limestone Wins First Title Since 1956

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WHNT) - Only one West Limestone starter was left standing at the final whistle in the Class 4A state championship game. But foul trouble would not deny the Wildcats.

Fourth-ranked West Limestone took advantage of a lengthy Westminster Christian scoring drought, and overcame four starters fouling out to win 53-42 tonight at Legacy Arena at the BJCC.

Zane Griffin was that lone remaining West Limestone starter. He finished with team highs in points (17) and rebounds (8).
