Florence PD still looking for a man they say cashed stolen checks

FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) – After two ATM skimming devices were found in the Shoals, fraud is at the top of mind for many law enforcement officials.

That’s why Florence Police once again asking for help to identify a man they say cashed stolen checks.

Walmart surveillance cameras caught him at two separate Florence locations back in September. They say stole checks from a Florence man’s jeep.

First, investigators say he cashed them at the Hughes Road location. Then, wearing a bright yellow shirt and a camouflage hat, he made his way into the Walmart on Cloverdale Road.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding some of this week’s most wanted.



First on their list is Brian Baily Hanback. They said he is wanted on kidnapping and robbery charges.




Next, Franklin Sheriff’s investigators are looking for Jennifer Lee Wear. She’s said to have escaped from community corrections.


Both Florence Police and Lauderdale County Sherrif’s investigators are looking for LaPaslee Pride on warrants including possession of marijuana. They say he’s also a person of interest in a credit card fraud case.
