HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT)– Last Tuesday, all 17 Mullins employees found themselves suddenly unemployed. They were told the restaurant was closing that day.

"It's not fair for what's happened to them, for them to work there for 25 plus years just to be set to the side," said former manager Jennifer Nance.

Now the employees are fighting to get their final paychecks.

"They've already worked for it and their families depend on it," said Nance.

The employees can't find their former boss, Operations Manger, Nesha Sine.

"She's not returning calls..she's deleted her Facebook page," said Sine.

WHNT News 19 reached out to Sine as well, but our calls were also unreturned.

Nance says the majority of the employees depended on every single penny from those paychecks they now may never see.

"Some [are] already receiving eviction notices, some [people's] cars had to go back, you know..there' some that needs diapers... groceries," said Nance.

Nance created a Gofundme account this weekend to raise money for the employees in need, she's hoping the community will offer their support.

"Anything helps... it'll add up and as soon as we get it out to the employees that need it," said Nance.
