AHSAA cancels Wednesday basketball games, adjusts remaining playoff schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WHNT) – Due to the threat of winter weather throughout much of the state, the AHSAA cancelled the state basketball tournament games for Wednesday. The adjusted schedule is as follows:

Thursday, February 26 – BJCC Legacy Arena

9:00 am – Homewood vs Austin (6A Girls Semifinals)

10:30 am – Homewood vs Lee-Huntsville (6A Boys Semifinals)

Noon – Shades Valley vs Blount (6A Girls Semifinals)

1:30 pm – Woodlawn vs Carver-Montgomery (6A Boys Semifinals)

3:00 pm – Hazel Green vs Jeff Davis (7A Girls Semifinals)

4:30 pm – Hoover vs Lee-Montgomery (7A Boys Semifinals)

6:00 pm – Huntsville vs McGill-Toolen (7A Girls Semifinals)

7:30 pm – Mountain Brook vs Theodore (7A Boys Semifinals)

Thursday, February 26 – Bill Harris Arena at the CrossPlex

3:00 pm – Wenonah vs Talladega (5A Girls Semifinals)
