Huntsville, Ala. (WHNT) -  When the basketball season is over, Butler High School will never play a game again. The Rebels are one of the most successful boys teams in state history having won five championships under then head coach Jack Doss. This particular group hasn't had the best season, but came through when it counted Thursday with an upset of #7 Madison County. The Rebels will live to play at least two more games as the win secured a spot in sub regional play.

Over at St. John Paul II, senior basketball player Dusan Cuturilo hit a layup in the final minutes to make the gym erupt. The Falcons had the game well in hand when the student section also known as "The Birds Nest" called for Cuturilo to come off the bench. Coach obliged and it made for one of the better moments in high school basketball this year. Click on the video player above to see for yourself.
