Police recover guns, drugs, money from Sparkman Drive residence

Huntsville, Ala. – A search warrant served at a residence on Sparkman Dr. turned up guns, drugs, and money Friday.

Agents with the HIDTA Madison-Morgan County STAC team found almost eight ounces of heroin, 48 oxycodone pills, 66 Xanax pills, and just under a quarter pound of marijuana at the residence on the 2900 block of Sparkman Dr.

Seven pistols and three rifles, believed to be stolen, were also recovered in the search, along with $8,710.

Robert Lee Winston was arrested and charged with trafficking in heroin and booked in the Madison County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Additional charges are likely to follow.
